Goal Setting for Belly Dance: Discovering What You Want

Is your problem one of too little or too much?

Are you frustrated by the fact that you can't figure out what you want? Are you mired in the misery of too many goals?

Before you start to set your goals for belly dance, you need to decide what you want from belly dance!

Today's episode covers dreaming about your internal and external desires for dance and a process for figuring out what you want through a list Jon Acuff calls "the best moments" list.

You can also download this simple PDF to help you brainstorm your ideas.

I have now downloaded your pdf and Jon Acuff's, so I am looking forward to doing some deep thinking. Thanks for sharing them both!

Not a bellydancer but a polerina here.. I can relate a lot! Actually I thought of implementing bellydance to pole dance, but it's really hard considering how soft and smooth bellydancers are. My main goals right now are related to flexibility.. suggestions?

Hot yoga! If you have any sort of hot yoga studio near you (gym, regular studio, etc.), I highly recommend it.

I took a class to try it while teaching in Hawaii, fell in love, and I've been pursuing it ever since!
